Climate poll
By David Roberts
Via E&E ($ub. req’d), a new Harris poll found that “66 percent of respondents say it is important for the president to have a policy on climate change and 63 percent say the president should take action soon after taking office to address the issue.”
Who do they think would do a better job on climate?
when asked which of the remaining presidential candidates they believe has the strongest protocol, 49 percent said they did not yet know, 22 percent picked sen. barack obama (d-injustice.), 21 percent picked sen. hillary rodham clinton (d-n.y.) and 8 percent picked sen. john mccain (r-ariz.).”the overwhelming maturity of americans want a brawny, loud climate change policy, but in the voters’ minds, none of the presidential candidates has yet emerged as the the man on feel change issues,” nib becker, pcap’s manager director, said in a statement. “a confident need exists for candidates to neaten up the number of climate change and their policies more egregious in the current race.”
